C H R I S G R A N T is a multidisciplinary product designer with interests in product, experience, communication, and visual design.
Chris is a Carnegie Mellon educated, SF-&-sometimes-NYC-based designer who enjoys mixed media and drawing inspiration from a variety of arts and disciplines, such as engineering and music. He currently designs at Dropbox. Previous companies that Chris has had the pleasure of working for include GrubHub, Lyft, and Jawbone, to name a few. He identifies himself as a kidult and takes comfort in the joys of watercolor painting, sketching, and collecting pins and stickers. Fashion, music, photography, and art have been among Chris' non-design interests from as early as primary school. Chris is a lifelong learner with autodidactic tendencies. He follows his interests and cultivates them through self-directed projects and studies, as well as classes at local art and design institutions. Chris' approach to his work, whether arts or design, is fun, expressive, collaborative, and striving for originality. His design tastes err on the side of minimal, yet memorable. Much of Chris' design process can be summarized as looking into experiences, understanding challenges and opportunities, followed by envisioning future possibilities.

I like to work on projects that impact lives, expand or create experiences, use devices in novel ways, intersect a variety of media digital and physical, or tell unique stories with identity and data. I also like to think about how I can impact the greater community around me.
